5G Home Internet - My Verizon app - Share Wi-Fi with Guest

Here's how share the 5G Home Internet Wi-Fi connection with a guest via the My Verizon app.

5G Home Internet service is currently offered in specific areas; click here to check for 5G coverage availability.

Ensure your app is up to date as the following steps apply to the most recent version.

If you're not able to access the My Verizon app, you can also visit the My Verizon website to manage your account.

Available settings vary based on user type (e.g., Account Owner, Account Manager, Account Member).

Open the

My Verizon app

Tap the

Account tab

(at the bottom).

If prompted, enter your password, fingerprint or Face ID.

If necessary, tap the 'Home' or '5G Home' tab (at the top).

Depending on your account services, the tabs displayed may vary.

Tap

Manage 5G Home

Tap

Network settings

From the 'Networks' section, tap

Guest

Viewing all networks may require scrolling down.

Tap

The message is copied to your clipboard to share via text or other messaging service.

To continue, review the disclaimer then tap

Confirm

Select the app you'd like to use to send your Guest Wi-Fi info (e.g., Message+, Email, Messenger, etc.) then send the message.

Once the message is received by your guest, they must enter the Guest Wi-Fi password on their device to join your Guest network.

Guests must be in range of your 5G Home Internet Wi-Fi router to connect.
