Google Pixel 3 - Add an Existing Google™ Account

Here's how to add an existing Google (Gmail) account to your Pixel 3 / 3 XL.
If you don't already have an account, refer to Create a New Google Account.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon

    Passwords & accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Add Account
    then tap
    Google
    .
  4. Enter the appropriate Gmail address then tap
    Next
    .
  5. Enter the appropriate Password then tap
    Next
    .
  6. If 'Try another way to sign in' appears, select a method to validate account.
  7. To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    .
  8. If presented, enable or disable any of the following:
    Enabled when a checkmark is present.
    • back up your phone's apps
    • app data
    • settings
    • personal dictionaries
    • Wi-Fi passwords.
  9. Tap the Back icon Back navigation icon (Upper-left) to exit.
