Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Manage Screen Lock Settings

Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your Galaxy Note9.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Lock screen
    .
  3. From the Phone security section, tap
    Secure lock settings
    .
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
  4. Configure any of the following:
    Depending upon the screen lock type, the options presented may vary.
    • Lock automatically (e.g., Immediately, 5 seconds, etc.)
    • Tap any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off :
      • Lock instantly with power key
      • Auto factory reset
      • Lock network and security
      • Show Lockdown option
