Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Link / Unlink Contacts

Here's what to do if you have duplicate or missing contacts or you'd like to link or unlink them.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail, Microsoft® Exchange, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Select a contact.
  4. Tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right).
  5. Perform any of the following:
    • To link a contact:
      1. Tap
        Link to another contact
        .
      2. Select the contact(s) to link.
        Selected when a checkmark is present.
      3. Tap
        Link
         (bottom of the screen).
    • To unlink a contact:
    1. Tap
      Add/remove linked contacts
      .
    2. Tap
      Unlink
       located to the right of the contact(s).
