Samsung Galaxy Note9 - Add a Contact

Here's how to add a contact to your Galaxy Note9.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap
    Contacts Contacts icon
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon Add icon
    (lower-right).
  4. If presented, select an account (e.g., Phone, Google, etc.) then tap 'Just once' or 'Set as default'.
    If 'Set as default' is selected, all future contacts will be added to the selected account.
  5. Enter any of the following info then tap
    Save
     (lower-right):
    Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Work info
    • Phone
      To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
      *+#
       then tap Pause or Wait.
    • Email
    • Groups
