Samsung Galaxy S9 / S9+ - Remove Gmail™ Account

Here's how to remove a Google (Gmail) account from your Galaxy S9 / S9+.
Removing then re-adding your  Gmail account often fixes login and not receiving email issues.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts and backup
    Accounts
    .
  3. Select the appropriate Gmail address.
    Multiple accounts may appear.
  4. Tap
    Remove account
    .
  5. To confirm, review the notification then tap
    Remove account
    .
