Here's how to add an existing Google (Gmail) account to your Galaxy S9 / S9+.

If you need to add an existing Google® (Gmail)™ account to your Galaxy S9 / S9+, follow these step by step instructions.

If you don't already have an account, refer to Create a New Google Account.

From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.

These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.

Navigate:

Settings

Accounts and backup

Accounts

Tap

Add account

Tap

Google

If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.

Enter the Gmail address then tap

Enter the password then tap

To continue, review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap

To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap

(at the bottom) when finished.

If presented, tap the

Back up to Google Drive switch

to turn on Switch on icon
