Apple Watch - Update Apps

Here's how to turn automatic updates for apps on your Apple Watch on or off.
  • An Apple ID must be created to use the App Store®; for assistance with retrieving or changing Apple ID passwords, refer to this Apple support page.
  • The steps below apply to the Apple Watch® Series 3 and newer models.
  1. From your iPhone, open the
    Watch app Watch app icon
    .
  2. From the My Watch tab (lower-left), tap
    General
    .
  3. Tap the
    Automatic App Install switch
     to turn on Switch on icon.
    When enabled, any updates to compatible Watch apps are automatically installed as they become available.
