Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Wireless Emergency Alerts

Here's how to manage emergency alerts (e.g., Extreme, Severe, AMBER, etc.) for your Galaxy Note8.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    More connection settings
    .
  3. Tap
    Wireless
    Emergency alerts
    .
  4. Tap
    Settings
     (upper-right).
  5. Tap
    Alert types
    .
  6. Select any of the following to turn on Switch on or off Switch off :
    Presidential alerts can't be disabled.
    • Extreme alerts
    • Severe alerts
    • AMBER alerts
    • Public safety alerts
    • State/local test alerts
    • Emergency alert test messages
