Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Turn Power Saver On / Off

Here's how to turn 'Power mode' on or off to help manage battery performance for your Galaxy Note8.
While enabled, Power mode reduces the performance of your device and limits vibration, location services, and most background data to help improve battery life.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Device care
    Battery
    .
  3. Tap
    Power mode
    .
  4. Configure any of the following settings as preferred:
    • For High performance mode:
      1. Tap
        High performance
        .
      2. Select the preferred Brightness and Screen resolution using the dropdown menus.
      3. Tap
        Apply
        .
    • For Optimized mode, tap
      Optimized
      .
      If Optimized is selected, settings are automatically controlled by the phone.
    • For Medium power saving mode:
      1. Tap
        Medium power saving mode
        .
      2. Select the preferred settings then tap
        Apply
         to turn on.
    • For Maximum power saving mode:
      1. Tap
        Maximum power saving mode
        .
      2. Select the preferred settings then tap
        Apply
         to turn on.
        To change settings, check or uncheck the preferred options and use the dropdown menus to set Brightness and Screen resolution.
