Samsung Galaxy Note8 - Install Device Software Update

Here's how to check for or install software updates on your Galaxy Note8.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
     >
    System updates
    .
    A system update won't be received while roaming.
  3. Tap
    Check for system updates
    .
  4. Do one of the following:
    • If advised that the software is up-to-date, tap
      OK
      .
    • If a software update is available:
      1. Tap
        Download
        .
      2. Once the download has been completed, tap
        Install Now
        .
