Here's how to allow your Galaxy Note8 to auto switch between Wi-Fi and mobile data to preserve a consistent data connection.
When connected to the Verizon cellular network, data overage charges may apply (depending upon data plan). For data usage info, refer to the My Verizon website.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Tap
    Advanced
    (upper-right).
  4. Tap
    Switch to mobile data switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
