Here's how to add a contact to your Galaxy Note8.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
    These instructions only apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Tap
    Contacts Contacts icon
    .
  3. Tap the
    Plus icon
     + (lower-right).
  4. If necessary, tap the desired storage location (e.g., Phone, Google, etc.).
  5. Enter any of the following info then tap
    SAVE
     (upper-right):
    Depending upon the account type, the options presented may vary.
    • Name
    • Work
    • Phone
      To add a pause (a 2-second delay between numbers) or wait, tap
      *+#
       then tap Pause or Wait.
    • Email
    • Groups
