Call Filter - Add / Remove Allowed Numbers
Here's how to manually select numbers that aren't automatically blocked by the Spam Filter when using the Call Filter app.
Before completing the steps below, you must enable Call Blocking and Identification.
Call Filter (formerly Caller Name ID) provides additional caller detail (e.g., city, state, name, etc.) and enables you to manage and block spam calls.
Add Number to the Allowed List
- From the Home screen, tap theCall Filter app.If necessary, install Call Filter (iPhone only).
- TapBlock(bottom of screen).
- TapAllowed(top of screen).
- TapAdd new.
- Enter a name and number then tapAllow number.You can also report the number as 'Not spam' by checking the box (optional).
Remove Number from the Allowed List
- From the Home screen, tap theCall Filter app.If necessary, install Call Filter (iPhone only).
- TapBlock(bottom of screen).
- TapAllowed(top of screen).
- Tap a number in the 'Allowed numbers' list.
- TapUnallowbelow the phone number details.
- Review the change then tapConfirm.
