Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+ - Add an Existing Google™ Account

Here's how to add an existing Google account to your Samsung Galaxy S8 / S8+.
If you don't already have an account, refer to Create a New Google Account.
  1. From a Home screen, touch and swipe up or down to display all apps.
    These instructions apply to Standard mode and the default Home screen layout.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Accounts and backup Accounts icon
    Accounts
    .
  3. Tap
    Add account
     Add entry icon.
  4. Tap
    Google
     Google icon.
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password, or pattern.
  5. Enter the email address then tap
    Next
    .
  6. Enter the email password then tap
    Next
    .
  7. Review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy then tap
    I agree
    (lower-right).
    To review the Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, tap the appropriate link and language then tap
    Close
     (at the bottom) when finished.
  8. From the Google services screen, tap any of the following to enable or disable then tap
    Accept
     :
    • Back up your device's apps, app data, settings, and Wi-Fi passwords using your Google Account
    • Keep me up to date with news and offers from Google Play.
