Here's how to add Verizon Smart Family service via the My Verizon website.
View this info to add the Smart Family™ service to line(s) on your account via the My Verizon website.
To perform the steps below, you need to:
  • use a desktop or laptop computer with an up to date web browser (e.g., Chrome™, Edge, Safari®, etc.).
  • sign in using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
  1. From a web browser, sign in to My Verizon.
  2. From the My Verizon Home page, navigate:
    Account
    Services & perks
    .
  4. Scroll down to the 'Safety' section to locate Verizon Smart Family then click
    Learn more
    .
    If previously added, select
    Verizon Smart Family
     from the 'Manage Services & Perks' section then click
    Change
     from the 'Manage' section.
  5. Click
    Get it now
    .
  6. Click one of the following then click
    Continue
    :
    • Verizon Smart Family
      : View and manage activity, and block inappropriate content.
    • Verizon Smart Family Premium
      : Locate family members, set arrival & departure alerts, view & manage activity, and block inappropriate content.
  7. To continue, accept the Terms and Conditions then select
    Confirm
    .
    A free text message is sent with a link to download the app.
    You're redirected to the Verizon Smart Family site to complete checkout and finish setting up your account.
