Apple iPhone - Share Files with AirDrop

Here's how to wirelessly share files from your iPhone without using Wi-Fi.
  • Instantly share your photos, videos, documents and more from your Apple® iPhone® with other Apple devices nearby.
  • Both the sender and the recipient need to be signed in to their Apple ID.
  • AirDrop must be turned on for both the sending and receiving device.
  1. From a created note, picture, video or map location / directions, tap the
    Share icon
     Share icon.
    If applicable, select (check) the desired photo(s) or video(s) in the album.
    To share contact info from within the contact, tap
    Share Contact
    .
  2. Tap
    AirDrop
     then select the desired recipient(s).
    To complete an AirDrop transfer, the recipient must tap
    Accept
     when prompted.
