Apple iPhone - Record and Send Video via Messaging

Here's how to record and send a video message using your iPhone.
The following steps also apply to when sending an iMessage®. When a message is sent, the message type (e.g., iMessage, SMS, etc.) is indicated by different colors.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPhone®, tap
    Messages
     Messages icon.
    If an app isn't available on your Home screen, swipe left to access the App Library.
  2. Tap the
    New Message icon
     New message icon (upper-right).
  3. From the 'To' field, enter a 10-digit mobile number.
    Alternatively, enter a contact name.
    Repeat this step as necessary to add additional recipients.
  4. From the Text Message field, enter a message.
  5. If necessary, tap the
    Add icon
     Camera icon (lower-left) then tap the
    Camera icon
     Camera icon (on the left).
  6. From the camera mode options at the bottom, swipe to choose VIDEO.
  7. Aim then tap the
    Record icon
     Record icon to begin recording.
    Alternatively, press either volume button (left-edge of the device).
  8. When finished, tap the
    Stop icon
     Stop to discontinue recording.
  9. Tap
    Done
     (upper-right).
    To discard and record a new video, tap
    Retake
     (at the bottom) then repeat step 9.
  10. Tap the
    Send icon
     Send Message Icon .
    The Send icon appears green in text messages and blue in iMessages.
