Apple iPhone - Use Apple ID for FaceTime

Here's how to connect to FaceTime on your iPhone with your Apple ID.
  • If you can't turn on or sign in to FaceTime, it may take up to 24 hours to activate on your device. For additional info, visit the Apple Support page.
  1. From a Home screen, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    FaceTime
    .
    If an app isn't available on your Home screen, swipe left to access the App Library.
    For assistance with using the FaceTime app, refer to FaceTime.
  2. Tap
    Use your Apple ID for FaceTime
    .
  3. Enter the Apple ID and password then tap
    Sign In
    .
    If prompted, enter the six-digit Apple ID Verification Code sent to your trusted device or phone number to complete sign in.
  4. From the 'YOU CAN BE REACHED BY FACETIME AT' section, select the applicable phone numbers and email address(es).
    Selected when a checkmark is present.
  5. From the 'CALLER ID' section, select the applicable Caller ID.
