Verizon Smart Family - Remove Time Restrictions

Here's how to remove time restrictions from a child device using the parent app on your smartphone or tablet.
To perform the steps below, you need to:
  • Ensure the Smart Family app is installed on the parent device.
  • Sign in to the app using a My Verizon user ID or mobile number that has Account Owner or Manager access privileges.
  • Ensure the child device is powered off prior to adding or removing restrictions.
  1. From the Smart Family™ parent app, tap the
    Family Profiles tab
     (bottom menu).
  2. Choose the profile of the family member you wish to view.
  3. From the Parental Controls section, tap
    Restrict usage
    .
  4. Tap
    Schedules
    .
  5. Select the schedule type (e.g., School Hours, Night Hours, etc.).
  6. Tap
    Delete custom schedule
     (lower-left).
  7. To confirm, tap
    Delete
    .
    School and Night Hours remain in the list and are reset to their default schedule instead of removed.
