Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE

Here's how to configure Mobile Hotspot settings (e.g., Broadcast SSID, Security type, etc.) on your LG G Pad 8.3.
  1. From a Home screen, tap
    Apps
     .
  2. From the Apps tab, tap
    Settings
    Settings icon .
  3. Tap
    More
     .
  4. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
     .
  5. Tap the
    On Switch
     to enable On indicator Mobile Hotspot (located in the upper-right).
  6. Tap
    Set up
     .
  7. Configure the following then tap
    Save
     .
    • Network name (SSID)
    • Broadcast SSID
      Enabled when a check mark Check Mark icon is present.
    • From the Frequency Dropdown menu Dropdown icon select either 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz.
    • Security type
      • None
      • WPA2 Personal
    • Password
    • From the 802.11 Mode drop down menu, select b only, g only or b/g/n.
    • From the Broadcast channel Dropdown menu Dropdown icon select the appropriate channel (Auto, 1 - 11)
    • From the Number of connected devices Dropdown menu Dropdown icon , select the preferred number of devices (1-10)
