Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings - LG G Pad 8.3 LTE
Here's how to configure Mobile Hotspot settings (e.g., password, allowed devices, timeout settings, etc.) for your LG G Pad 8.3 LTE.
Set Up
- From a Home screen, navigate:.Apps iconSettingsMore
- TapMobile Hotspot.
- TapSet Up.If unavailable, tap the Mobile Hotspot switch
- From the Set Up screen, configure the following as needed:
- Network name SSID
- Broadcast SSIDEnabled when a checkmark
is present.
- Security type
- None
- WPA2 Personal
- PasswordPassword can be changed .
- 802.11 Mode
- b only
- g only
- b/g/n
- Broadcast channel (i.e. Auto, 1 - 11)
- Number of connected devices (1 - 10)
- TapSave.

- To set allowed devices, tapManage connections.
- TapAllow all devicesto enable or disable.Restricts which devices are allowed to connect when disabled (unchecked).To add a device:
- TapAdd to allowed devicesthen select one of the following options:
- Enter MAC address of the device
- Choose from connected devices

- Select an option:
- 5 min
- 10 min
- 20 min
- 30 min
- 60 min
- Never turns off
