Here's how to set up Call Filter on your Android smartphone.
  • Call Filter (formerly Caller Name ID) provides your Android™ device with additional caller detail (e.g., city, state, name, etc.) and enables you to manage and block spam calls.
  • The Call Filter app is preinstalled on most Android devices and can be found in the Verizon Apps folder.
    Refer to the Supported Devices page for device eligibility.
  1. Open the
    Call Filter app
     Call Filter icon.
  2. Tap
    Get started
    .
    If using a device with Dual SIM (DSDS or eSIM) follow these steps:
    • Tap
      'No account selected'
      , then tap
      Get started
      .
    • Select the phone number you want to active Call Filter on.
    • Tap
      Done
      .
  3. To continue, review the on-screen instructions then tap
    Got it
    .
  4. To continue, review the Terms & Conditions and Privacy Policy then tap
    OK
