Here's how to turn International CDMA for your iPad on or off to improve your network connection while traveling.
  • Postpaid customers
    : To get specific info on using your service while traveling internationally, visit our International Trip Planner, enter your info then click 'Sign in' for a personalized solution or 'Get Started' if you don't want to sign in.
  • The steps only apply while traveling outside the US and may vary based on international network.
  1. From the Home screen of your Apple® iPad®, navigate:

    Cellular Data
    Cellular Data Options
    .
  2. Tap the
    Data Roaming switch
     to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
  3. Tap the
    International CDMA switch
     to turn on or off.
    Turning off International CDMA while in another country may improve poor messaging or data performance.
