Apple iPad - Create an Apple ID

Here's how to create an Apple ID using your iPad.
You can also create an Apple ID by visiting the Create Your Apple ID website.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, tap
    Settings
     Settings icon.
  2. Tap
    Sign in to your iPad
    .
  3. Tap
    Don't have an Apple ID or forgot it?
  4. Tap
    Create Apple ID
    .
  5. Enter the following info then tap
    Next
    :
    • First Name
    • Last Name
    • Birthday
  6. Enter your email address then tap
    Next
    .
    If you don't have an email address, tap
    Don't have an email address?
     then tap
    Get an iCloud Email Address
    .
  7. Enter the password into the required fields then tap
    Next
     (upper-right).
    Password must be at least 8 characters, including a number and an uppercase and lowercase letter.
  8. Enter a phone number that can be used to verify your identity, choose one of the following options then tap
    Next
    :
    • Text Message
    • Phone Call
  9. Enter the verification code.
  10. To continue, review the Terms and Conditions then tap
    Agree
     (lower-right).
  11. To continue, tap
    Agree
    .
    An email with verification steps is sent to the address chosen as the Apple ID.
