Apple iPad - Restrict App Usage

If you'd like to restrict access to apps and hide app icons, view this info.
  • Corporate policy may determine allowable restrictions. Contact your Exchange / IT admin for assistance.
  • This feature is no longer available on models running iOS 12 or later.
    For additional options refer to Turn Screen Time On / Off.
  1. From the Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    General
    Restrictions
    .
  2. Tap
    Enable Restrictions
    .
  3. Enter a restrictions passcode.
  4. Re-enter the restrictions passcode.
  5. Tap the
    switches
     (e.g., Safari, Camera, etc.) to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
    Any restriction set to off hides the corresponding icon on the Home screen.
