Apple iPad - View / Manage Home Screen Panels

Here's how to view, add and remove Home screen panels on your iPad.

Add Panel

The panels are used to display and organize folders, shortcuts and widgets.
  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, swipe left to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
  2. From a Home screen, touch and hold an item (e.g., widgets, apps, folders) until the items on the screen start wiggling.
  3. Drag the item to the right until a new Home screen panel appears then release.

Remove Panel

  1. From a Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, swipe left to navigate the extended Home screen panels.
  2. From the applicable Home screen panel, touch and hold an item (e.g., widgets, apps, folders).
  3. Tap
    Delete App
    .
  4. To confirm, tap
    Delete
    .
    Repeat these steps until all items have been removed from the Home screen panel.
