Apple iPad - Turn Personal Hotspot On / Off

Here's how to turn your iPad's personal hotspot feature on or off.
For USB tethered connections, iTunes must be installed on the computer.
  1. From a Home screen on your
    Settings Settings icon
    Personal Hotspot
    .
    If you are prompted to "Set Up Personal Hotspot", add the add-on by visiting My Verizon or contact us to make the necessary plan / add-on change.
  2. Tap the
    Allow Others to Join switch
     to turn on Switch On or off Switch Off.
    When the Personal Hotspot is turned on, other Wi-Fi services are disabled.

    • Lock screen
