Here's how to delete email messages from your iPad.

From a Home screen on your Apple® iPad®, tap

Mail

Select the appropriate email account / inbox (e.g., All Inboxes, Gmail, Yahoo, etc).

Tap

Edit

(located along the top).

Tap the message(s).

Selected when a checkmark is present.

Tap

Trash
