Apple iPad - Open / Manage Browser Bookmarks
Here's how to open, add, modify and remove browser bookmarks on your iPad.
Follow the steps below to open, add, delete or edit a browser bookmark on your Apple® iPad®.
Open Bookmark
- From the Home screen, tapSafari
.
- Tap theSidebar icon
(upper-left) then tap
Bookmarks.If unavailable, tap theBookmarks icon(at the top).
- From the 'Bookmarks' tab (upper-left), tap a bookmark.
Add Bookmark
- From a Home screen, tapSafari
.
- Touch and hold theMore icon
(at the top).
- TapAdd Bookmark.
- Enter the info then tapSave(upper-right).By default, the label and address of the website currently visited appears.
Delete Bookmark
- From a Home screen, tapSafari
- Tap theSidebar iconBookmarks.If unavailable, tap theBookmarks icon
- TapFavorites.
- TapEdit(lower-right).If unavailable, ensure that the Bookmarks tab
(upper-left) is selected.
- Tap theRemove icon
to the left of the bookmark name.
- TapDelete(on the right) to confirm.
- TapDone.
Edit Bookmark
- From a Home screen, tapSafari
- Tap theSidebar iconBookmarks.If unavailable, tap theBookmarks icon
- TapFavorites.
- TapEdit(lower-right).If unavailable, ensure that the Bookmarks tab
- Tap the bookmark.
- Enter the appropriate info into the following fields then tapdone.
- Title
- Address
- Location
