Here's how to remove a Gmail (Google) account from your Pixel 8 / 8 Pro.
Removing then re-adding your Google (Gmail™) account often fixes login issues and inability to receive email.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Passwords & accounts
    .
  3. Tap the appropriate Gmail account.
  4. Tap
    Remove account
    .
  5. Tap
    Remove account
     to confirm.
