Samsung Galaxy S23 FE - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy S23 FE.

Configure Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Security
      Tap the preferred security option (i.e., ,Open, Enhanced, WPA2-Personal, etc.).
    • Band
      This option can be set to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred.
  5. To hide your Mobile Hotspot's name, tap
    Advanced
     then tap the
    Hidden network switch
     to turn on Switch on icon.
  6. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  5. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select an option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, 60 minutes, etc.).
