Samsung Galaxy S23 FE - Enable / Disable / Modify SIM PIN

Here's how to change the SIM PIN for your Galaxy S23 FE or turn it on or off.
  • Enabling the Subscriber Identity Module (SIM) Personal Identification Number (PIN) locks the SIM card so it can't be used until the correct code is entered.
  • If the incorrect PIN code is entered too many times, refer to My Verizon Website - Locate the SIM PIN / PUK to obtain a new PIN Unblocking Key (PUK).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security and privacy
    .
  3. Tap
    More security settings
    .
  4. Tap
    SIM card security
    .
    If unavailable, ensure a SIM card is properly inserted.
  5. If multiple SIMs are present, select the appropriate SIM from the tabs at the bottom of the screen (e.g., SIM 1, eSIM 1, etc.).
  6. Tap the
    Lock SIM card switch
     to turn on Switch on icon or off Switch off icon.
    To change your SIM PIN, ensure the switch is turned on then do the following:
    1. Tap
      Change SIM card PIN
      .
    2. Enter the current SIM PIN (current SIM PIN) then tap
      OK
      .
      The default SIM PIN is 1111.
    3. Enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
    4. Re-enter the new SIM PIN then tap
      OK
      .
  7. Enter the current SIM PIN then tap
    OK
