Here's how to restart your Galaxy Tab S9 FE 5G into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
Safe Mode puts your tablet into a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slowly.
An alternate method is available if the device is unresponsive or won't power on.
  1. Press and hold the press and hold the
    Power/Side
     and
    Volume down buttons
     until the 'Power off' prompt appears on the screen then release.
    Power Off
  2. Touch and hold
    Power off
     until the 'Safe mode' prompt appears then release.
  3. Tap
    Safe mode
     to confirm.
    This process may take up to 45 seconds to complete.
    Upon reboot, 'Safe mode' appears in the lower-left of the unlock / Home screen.
