TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 - Manage Do Not Disturb Settings

Here's how to check 'Do not disturb' settings if your TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 isn't receiving alerts for email and other apps.
The 'Do not disturb' setting allows sound / vibration (for messages, etc.) to be turned on or off as preferred.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Sound
    .
  3. Tap
    Do not disturb
    .
  4. Tap the
    Turn on now switch
     to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
  5. Tap the
    Alarms switch
     to turn on or off.
  6. From the TURN ON AS SCHEDULED section, do one of the following:
    • To edit existing rules:
      1. Tap the rule name (e.g., Sleeping).
      2. Tap the
        On/Off switch
         (at the top) to turn on or off.
      3. Tap
        Rule name
        , edit the name (if desired) then tap
        OK
        .
      4. Tap the preferred day(s) for the rule to be active.
        Selected when highlighted in a blue circle.
      5. Tap
        Start time
        , select the time then tap
        OK
        .
      6. Tap
        End time
        , select the time then tap
        OK
        .
      7. Tap the
        Alarm can override end time
         to turn on or off.
    • To create new rules:
      1. Tap
        Add more schedules
        .
      2. Enter the desired name then tap
        ADD
        .
      3. Tap the
        ON/OFF switch
         (at the top) to turn on or off.
      4. Tap
        Rule name
        , edit the name (if desired) then tap
        OK
        .
      5. Tap the preferred day(s) for the rule to be active.
        Selected when highlighted in a blue circle.
      6. Tap
        Start time
        , select the time then tap
        OK
        .
      7. Tap
        End time
        , select the time then tap
        OK
        .
      8. Tap the
        Alarm can override end time
         to turn on or off.
    • To delete rules:
      1. Tap the rule name.
      2. Tap the
        Delete icon
         Delete icon (upper-right).
      3. Tap
        DELETE
         to confirm.
