TCL TAB Disney Edition 2 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your TCL TAB Disney Edition 2.
A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and protects your online identity via a secured remote server and is most commonly used when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.).
Contact the VPN admin for assistance with server info and credentials.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to view all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    VPN
    .
  3. Tap the
    Add icon
     add icon (upper-right).
  4. If presented with a secure screen lock notification, tap
    OK
    .
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock (pattern, PIN or password only) for assistance.
  5. In the Name field, enter the appropriate name.
  6. In the Type field, tap the
    Dropdown menu icon
     Dropdown menu icon then select the appropriate VPN type:
    • IKEv2/IPSec MSCHAPv2
    • IKEv2/IPSec PSK
    • IKEv2/IPSec RSA
  7. Enter the appropriate info into the applicable fields (e.g., Server address, Username, Password, etc.) then tap
    SAVE
     (lower-right).
    If applicable, tap
    Show advanced options
     to configure the following:
    The available options vary depending upon the selected VPN type.
    • DNS search domains
    • DNS servers
    • Proxy
    • Username
    • Password
