Samsung Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G - Add a Wi-Fi Network

Here's how to connect your Galaxy Tab S9+ 5G to a Wi-Fi network.

Connect to an Available Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Switch on.
  4. Tap the preferred network.
    If the preferred network isn't listed, it can be added manually (see 'Manually Add a Wi-Fi Network' below).
  5. If presented, enter the appropriate password then tap
    Connect
    .
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap the
    Show password icon
     Show password icon.

Manually Connect to a Wi-Fi Network

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Wi-Fi
    .
  3. Ensure the Wi-Fi switch (upper-right) is turned on Switch on.
  4. Tap
    Add network
    .
  5. From the 'Network name' field, enter the appropriate name.
  6. Tap
    Security
    .
  7. Tap the appropriate security option:
    If using an open network (Security type 'None'), skip to step 6.
    • None
    • Enhanced Open
    • WEP
    • WPA / WPA2-Personal
    • WPA3-Personal
    • WPA / WPA2-Enterprise
    • WPA3-Enterprise
    • WPA3-Enterprise 192-bit
      If applicable, ensure additional settings (e.g., EAP method, CA certificate, etc.) are configured appropriately.
  8. From the 'Password' field, enter the appropriate password.
    To view the password as it is being entered, tap the
    Show password icon
     Show password icon.
  9. Tap
    View more
     then ensure additional settings (e.g., IP settings, Proxy, etc.) are configured appropriately (if applicable).
  10. Tap
    Save
