Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (Screen timeout, Background style, Font, etc.) on your Galaxy Watch6 / Galaxy Watch6 Classic.
From your Android™ smartphone, ensure your Galaxy Watch6 / Galaxy Watch6 Classic software is up to date as the steps below apply to the most recent version.

Brightness

  1. From the watch screen, swipe up to open the apps screen.
    Swipe up from Home screen
  2. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Settings icon.
  3. Tap
    Display
    .
  4. Tap
    Brightness
    .
  5. Slide the
    white dot
     clockwise (increase) or counterclockwise (decrease) to the desired level.
  6. Press the
    Back button
    .
    Back icon
  7. Tap
    Adaptive brightness
     then turn on On switch icon or off Off switch icon as desired.
    When turned on, brightness automatically adjusts based on available light.

Screen Timeout

  1. From the watch screen, swipe up to open the apps screen.
    Swipe up from Home screen
  2. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Settings icon.
  3. Tap
    Display
    .
  4. Tap
    Screen timeout
    .
  5. Tap the preferred screen timeout:
    • 15 seconds
    • 30 seconds
    • 1 minute

Font

  1. From the watch screen, swipe up to open the apps screen.
    Swipe up from Home screen
  2. Tap the
    Settings icon
     Settings icon.
  3. Tap
    Display
    .
  4. Tap
    Font style
    .
  5. Swipe the screen up or down to scroll, then tap the desired font style.
  6. Press the
    Back button
    .
    Back icon
  7. Tap
    Font size
    .
  8. Slide the
    blue dot
     right (increase) or left (decrease) to the desired size.
