Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 - Manage Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure Mobile / Wi-Fi Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, etc.) on your Galaxy Z Flip5.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up or down from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap either 'Network name', 'Password' or 'Band' to enter the Configure Mobile Hotspot menu.
  5. Configure the following as preferred:
    • Network name
    • Band
      This option can be set to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred.
    • Security
      This option can be set to:
      • Open
      • Enhanced Open
      • WPA2-Personal
      • WPA2/WPA3-Personal
      • WPA3-Personal
  6. Tap
    Advanced
     to configure the following:
    • MAC address type
    • Turn off when no device connected for
    • Hidden network
    • Support Wi-Fi 6 standard
    • Protected Management Frames
    • Power saving mode
    • Wi-Fi sharing
  7. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
