Samsung Galaxy Z Flip5 - Link / Unlink Contacts

Here's how to link or unlink duplicate contacts in your Galaxy Z Flip5.
The Contacts app uses an intelligent merge feature to combine contact info from various sources (Gmail™, Microsoft® Exchange, new entries, etc.). If contact info was joined in error, the info can be separated back into individual contacts.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Do one of the following:
    • To link contacts:
      1. Tap the
        Menu icon
         Menu icon (upper-left).
      2. Tap
        Manage contacts
        .
      3. Tap
        Merge contacts
        .
      4. Select the preferred option to merge by duplicate Number, Email or Name.
        Selected when a checkmark appears.
      5. Tap 'Select all' to apply all merge suggestions or tap each preferred suggestion to merge individually.
      6. Tap
        Merge
         (at the bottom).
    • To unlink contacts:
      1. Tap a linked contact.
      2. Tap
        Storage locations
        .
      3. Tap
        Unlink
         to the right of the appropriate item.
        Tap
        Unlink all
         to unlink all merged contact entries.
