TCL TAB 8 Plus - Manage Screen Lock Settings

Here's how to configure the screen lock settings for your TAB 8 Plus.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Security & biometrics
    .
  3. From the 'Screen lock' section, tap the
    Gear icon
     Settings icon then tap any of the following:
    If presented, enter the current PIN, password or pattern.
    • Make pattern visible
      Tap to turn on Switch on or off Switch off.
    • Automatically lock
      Select a period (e.g., 5 seconds, 30 seconds, etc.).
    • Power button instantly locks
      Tap to turn on or off.
