TCL TAB 8 Plus - Link / Unlink Contacts

Here's how to link or unlink duplicate contacts in your TAB 8 Plus.

Link Contacts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Tap
    Fix & manage
    .
  4. Tap
    Merge & fix
    .
  5. Tap
    Merge duplicates
    .
  6. Review the suggested contacts being merged then tap
    Merge
    .
    To merge multiple sets of contacts, tap
    Merge all
     (bottom right).

Undo Changes to Contacts

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Tap
    Contacts
     Contacts icon.
  3. Tap the
    Switch account icon
     switch account icon (upper-right) then tap
    Contacts settings
    .
  4. From 'Edits Contacts' section, tap
    Undo changes
     then select an option:
    Option selected reverts all contacts changed within that timeframe.
    • 10 min ago
    • 1 hr ago
    • Yesterday
    • 1 week ago
    • Custom
      Set Days, Hours, or Minutes up to 30 days in the past.
  5. Tap
    Confirm
     then tap
    OK
