TCL TAB 8 Plus - Clear App Cache

Here's how to clear cached data if your TAB 8 Plus runs slowly, crashes or resets, or apps freeze.
Follow the steps below to clear temporary files and free up storage on your device without losing info.

Clear Individual App Cache

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Apps
    .
  3. Locate then tap the appropriate app.
    If necessary, tap
    View all 'xx' apps
    .
  4. Tap
    Storage & cache
    .
  5. Tap
    CLEAR CACHE
    .
    This option may not be available for some apps.

Clear All Cached Data

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Storage
    .
  3. Tap
    Free up space
    .
  4. From the 'Junk Files' section, tap
    Clean
     (lower-right).
  5. Review the info then tap
    CLEAR
     to confirm.
