Here's how to check available space if your TAB 8 Plus runs slowly / crashes, apps freeze or you can't save media.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Storage
    .
  3. View the available space for 'Internal shared storage'.
    To view storage on an SD card:
    1. Tap
      THIS DEVICE
       (upper-left).
    2. Tap
      SD CARD
      .
      If unavailable, ensure an SD / memory card inserted.
  4. To view files, tap the desired folder (e.g., Images, Audio, Video, etc.).
To free up additional storage space, unused items may be removed from the device such as:
