KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 3 - Power Up in Safe Mode

Here's how to boot your DuraForce PRO 3 into Safe Mode to help determine if an app is causing it to freeze, reset or run slowly.
Safe Mode puts your phone in a diagnostic state (returned to default settings) so you can determine if a third-party app is causing your device to freeze, reset or run slowly.
An alternate method is available if the device can be powered on and is responsive.
  1. Ensure the device is powered off.
  2. Press and hold the
    Power button
     (on the right edge) until the Kyocera logo appears, then release.

  3. With the Kyocera logo on the screen, press and hold the
    Volume Down button
     (on the left edge).

  4. Continue to hold the
    Volume Down button
     until Safe mode appears in the lower left of the screen then release.
    This may take up to 45 seconds.
