KYOCERA DuraForce PRO 3 - Add a Virtual Private Network

Here's how to add a virtual private network (VPN) to your DuraForce PRO 3.
A virtual private network (VPN) encrypts your internet traffic and protects your online identity via a secured remote server and is most commonly used when remotely accessing company systems (e.g., company email, intranet sites, etc.).
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Setting icon
    Network & internet
    .
  3. Tap
    VPN
    .
  4. Tap the
    Add icon
     Add icon (upper-right).
  5. If presented with a lock screen notification, tap 'Set Lock' or 'OK'.
    Refer to Enable / Disable / Modify Screen Lock (pattern, PIN or password only) for assistance.
  6. From the 'Name' field, enter the appropriate name.
  7. From the 'Type' field, tap the
    Dropdown menu
     Drop-down menu icon (right) then select the VPN type:
    • IKEv2/IPSec MSCHAPv2
    • IKEv2/IPSec PSK
    • IKEv2/IPSec RSA
  8. Enter the required info into the applicable fields then tap
    SAVE
     (lower-right).

    Show advanced options
     to configure the following:
