Google Pixel 7a - Record and Play Sound File

Here's how to record and play a sound file on your Pixel 7a.
  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to display all apps.
  2. Tap
    Recorder
    .
  3. If prompted, read the disclaimer then tap
    Get started
    .
  4. Tap the
    Record icon
     Record icon (at the bottom).
  5. Tap the
    Pause icon
     Pause icon to pause the recording.
    To continue the recording after it's paused, tap
    Resume
    .
  6. Tap
    Add title
     to enter a name for the file then tap
    Save
    .
  7. To listen to a recording, tap the desired file then tap the
    Play icon
     Play icon.
    If necessary, press the
    volume buttons
     (on the right edge) to adjust volume up or down during playback.
    To delete the recording, tap the
    Menu icon
     Menu icon (upper-right) then tap
    Delete
     twice to confirm.
