TCL 40 XE 5G - Adjust Brightness / Display Settings

Here's how to adjust screen brightness and other display settings (e.g., Screen saver, Sleep, Display size, etc.) for your TCL 40 XE 5G.

Adjust Brightness Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. Tap
    Brightness level
    .
  4. Slide the
    bar
     right or left to increase or decrease brightness.
    To automatically adjust brightness to your surroundings, tap
    Adaptive brightness switch
     to turn on Switch on.

Adjust Display / Font Settings

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up to access all apps.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Display
    .
  3. Tap
    Sleep
     then select an option (e.g., 15 seconds, 2 minutes, etc.).
  4. Tap
    Font size
    .
  5. Slide the
    bar
     left or right to adjust the font size.
    Slide left to decrease text size or slide right to increase it.
