Here's how to configure Mobile Hotspot settings (e.g., password, network name, timeout, etc.) on your Galaxy A54 5G.

Configure Mobile Hotspot

  1. From a Home screen, swipe up from the center of the display to access the apps screen.
  2. Navigate:
    Settings Settings icon
    Connections
    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Network name
     then configure any of the following:
    • Network name
    • Band
      This option can be set to 2.4 GHz or 5 GHz preferred.
    • Security
      This option can be set to the following:
      • Open
      • WPA2-Personal
      • WPA2 / WPA3-Personal
      • WPA3-Personal
  5. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).

    Mobile Hotspot and Tethering
    .
  3. Tap
    Mobile Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Network name
    .
  5. Tap
    Advanced
    .
  6. Tap
    Turn off when no device connected for
     then select the preferred option (e.g., Never timeout, 5 minutes, 10 minutes, etc.).
  7. Tap
    Save
     (lower-right).
