Connected Car Wi-Fi (BMW) - Manage Wi-Fi Hotspot Settings

Here's how to configure the hotspot settings (e.g., SSID, Wi-Fi password, etc.) for your BMW in-car Wi-Fi.
Activation of your Personal eSIM is required before accessing the Wi-Fi hotspot settings screen.
  1. From the vehicle's head unit, tap
    MENU
    .
  2. Tap
    All apps
    .
  3. Tap
    Personal Hotspot
    .
  4. Tap
    Settings
     (on the right).
  5. Select any of the following to view or change settings:
    • Wi-Fi
      : Tap
      Internet access for mobile devices
       to turn Wi-Fi on or off.
    • Wi-Fi Name
      : Sets the network name for compatible devices to select when connecting to your in-car Wi-Fi.
    • Password
      : Sets a password for connecting to in-car Wi-Fi.
